THE CIRCLE

This is Stephen Morrison (03/04/1826 – 06/03/1865), this is Jim's great-great grandfather! According to some information (given by Alan Graham and Judy Sacco), he was an educator and superintendent of the Lawrence County school in Pennsylvania.

Stephen Morrison is said to have been a soldier, serving in the ranks of the Union during the Civil War.

​

He would have died suddenly of a ruptured aneurysm while going to the bedside of his sick father.

​

We already observe a family resemblance, don't you think?

(For the record, the Morrison family would descend from a certain Alexander Morrison, a Scottish immigrant born in 1750 and arrived in the USA, in Maryland in April 1781.)
