THE CIRCLE

Danny started working for DOORS at the age of 12 answering fan letters. His biggest dream was that one day he could become the band's manager. An opportunity that will finally be offered to him at his 17th birthday, following the departure of Bill Siddons.
He later managed Ray Manzarek solo as well as the iguana, Iggy Pop for a time. He is also with Jerry Hopkins, the co-author of the biography on Jim Morrison: "No One Here Gets Out Alive", published in 1980.
Often criticized by the most purist fans for his choices on the artistic directions to take (he had mentioned a reformation of the Doors with Iggy Pop on vocals), Danny Sugerman unfortunately succumbed to lung cancer on January 5, 2005 and is now based in Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
