THE CIRCLE

Paul Anthony Rotchchild is a record producer whose notoriety is no longer to be proven in the musical field. He is indeed famous for having produced not only the "Doors" but also the album "Pearl" by Janis Joplin.
Paul Rothchild born April 18, 1935 in Brooklyn (New York). A graduate of Teaneck High School in New Jersey, the state in which he spent his childhood, his career in the music industry really took off in 1963 when he became a producer for the record company Elektra Records, managed by Jac Holzmann.
Rothchild will subsequently produce all the "Doors" albums from 1967 to 1970... Overwhelmed by the death of Janis Joplin, which occurred on October 4, 1970, from whom he produced the last album "Pearl" (which will be released posthumously) and in disagreement with the "Doors" during the recording of "LA Woman", he decides not to produce what will become the last album of the group during Jim Morrison's lifetime.
Paul Rotchild died on March 30, 1995 from lung cancer.
