THE CIRCLE

Hervé was a journalist at "Best", a former French music magazine specializing in rock, and at "Rock & Folk", a monthly French music magazine founded in 1966.

Editor, he started in Rock & Folk with the section "Les fous du Folk". He was also a translator.

Close to Jim Morrison after Gilles Yepremian, one of his friends at the time took him back to his Paris apartment after finding him drunk on the public highway. he met the singer for the last time on June 11, 1971, when he and Gilles took numerous photographs of the fallen lizard king in Paris.

Hervé Muller is the author of a biography, "Jim Morrison, beyond the Doors" (1973) and a book tracing the various rumors and theories surrounding the death of the Doors singer, entitled "Jim Morrison, death or lively". He also remarkably translated Morrison's poetic work into the language of Molière and thus won the praise of many French-speaking fans and critics.

In recent years, his health had gradually deteriorated. We extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones, family, friends and colleagues.

Hervé Muller passed away on March 23, 2021.
